Return & Refund Policy

At MAIMO (Maison Moderne), every product is made to order with care and precision. Because our items are handcrafted and customized according to each client’s specifications, we do not accept returns for reasons of change of mind, wrong size selection, or personal preference.
We gladly accept returns only in cases where the item received is defective, damaged, or not as described in your order confirmation.
1. Eligibility for Return
A return request will only be accepted if:
- The product you received is different from what you ordered, or
- The product arrives damaged or defective due to manufacturing or transit.
To be eligible for a return:
- You must notify us within 2 days of receiving the item.
- The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- Proof of purchase (order number or invoice) is required.
Please note:
- Items correctly made according to your order details cannot be returned or exchanged.
- We do not offer refunds for custom-made or personalized products unless faulty.
2. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you about the status of your refund.
If your return is approved:
- A refund will be issued to your original payment method within 2–4 business days.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund is processed.
If the returned product is found to be in perfect condition or matches your order, no refund will be issued, and the product may be shipped back to you at your expense.
3. Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you received a faulty item, please email us at [email protected] within 3 days of delivery, including photos of the defect or damage.
4. Shipping Costs
- If the return is approved due to an error on our part, MAIMO (Maison Moderne) will cover the return shipping cost.
- If the item matches your order and you wish to return it, you will be responsible for all related shipping costs (and approval may not be granted).
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund after approval:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card provider or bank; it may take several days to reflect.
